Mark Darbon joined the Northampton Saints Foundation as a Trustee after a year acting as the Club's Chief Executive.
Arriving at Franklin's Gardens in the summer of 2017, Mark has wealth of experience under his belt from a career spent working for some of the world’s biggest brands – including Diageo, Tough Mudder and Madison Sports Group.
He was also a senior figure within the delivery of the London 2012 Olympics, becoming head of pre-games events between November 2010 and May 2012 and then head of Olympic Park operations for the duration of the Games themselves.
Mark grew up within the East Midlands, having been educated at Bedford School, and achieved a hockey Blue during his time at Oxford University.
Having seen positive impact that Northampton Saints has on a large and diverse group of people people across Northamptonshire and beyond, Mark is keen to help harness that impact through the work of the Foundation, and in doing so ensure that there is a mutually beneficial relationship between the Club and the Foundation’s activities.
