The Northampton Saints Foundation’s superb start to fundraising has continued with Portman Asset Finance naming the newly-formed organisation their Charity of the Year.
The charity aims to improve the motivation, self-esteem and learning of young people through the medium of sport, and despite having only launched this summer it has already raced out of the traps in terms of gathering support.

And Portman Asset Finance, who have been providing of fast and flexible finance solutions to established and start-up businesses for over a decade, are the latest local business to get involved with a donation of £2,400 to the delight of Matt Goode, Saints’ Head of Foundation.
He said: “The Northampton Saints Foundation is really gathering momentum now and this is the latest in a string of very kind contributions from local businesses and individuals.
“We are really excited about the fast growth of the Foundation and optimistic this will continue – donations like these allow us to make a really important impact within Northamptonshire and achieve our aims of educating, inspiring and supporting young people and their communities.
