Northampton Saints players huddle together

Benevolent Fund

The Northampton Saints Benevolent Fund exists to support past and present players, staff, and their immediate families during times of need.

Launched in 2022, the Fund provides direct financial assistance and guidance to individuals facing life’s toughest challenges – including injury, illness, disability, and bereavement. Whether during or after their time at Saints, our goal is to ensure no member of our extended Club family faces hardship alone.

With over 2,000 players and countless staff having contributed to the Club’s legacy, the Benevolent Fund was created to offer meaningful support to those affected by life-changing circumstances.

How the Fund Works

The Benevolent Fund sits within the Northampton Saints Foundation (Registered Charity No. 1176345) and is overseen by a dedicated committee appointed by the Club.

Committee Members

  • Paul Shields (Chair) – Saints’ Recruitment & Strategic Projects Director
  • Jordan Letts – Chief Executive, Northampton Saints Foundation
  • Ella Bevan – Chairman, Northampton Saints
  • Andy Tresias – Former Head of Operations, Northampton Saints
  • Ethan Waller, Paul Grayson, Phil Pask, Harvey Thorneycroft – Former Northampton Saints players
