The Aspire Summer Programme has been designed to work with young people from vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds, and in 2018 was fully funded by Portman Asset Finance and Boost Trampoline Parks.
The Foundation began this programme to assist young people and develop relationships with local school and partnerships. Over the five-week programme Campion School, Spires Academy, Malcolm Arnold Academy, Duston School and Caroline Chisholm School were offered the opportunity to select four students to attend four days on the programme.
In total we worked with 40 students from the Northamptonshire area, giving participants the chance to get involved in some fantastic enrichment opportunities such as Boost Trampoline Parks, Goals, Cineworld, Laser Zone, Riverside Hub and Tenpin Bowling.
"Aspire has had some incredible feedback, I am happy as a Foundation we can provide a support network for all of our young people and create a safe environment for them to enjoy their summer break."Jordan Letts, Social Inclusion Manager
"The Aspire Summer Programme has been a saviour to the YP's that I support and without that to look forward to they would have been extremely isolated with nothing to look forward to. The staff are on hand at a moment’s notice to offer emotional support to help guide them through tricky times. I cannot recommend and thank Jordan and his staff enough for what they have done."Trudy Jones, EOC NCC
