Foundation collaborates on Dragon's Den challenge with Moorish Dips

To celebrate National Humous Day in May, Northampton Saints Foundation teamed up with Founder15 partners, Moorish Dips, to give young people the opportunity to create their own platters in a ‘Dragon’s Den’ themed challenge.

Individuals on the Foundations Engage Plus programme, which works with young people enrolled at Northampton Collegewere tasked with researching their design, carefully considering the look, taste, and budget, inspired by Moorish Dip's website and social media.

A Founder15 partner since 2021, Moorish have been producing their range of humous dips for over 10 years. Available to purchase from Sainsbury’s, Asda, Ocado, Booths, Whole Foods Market, Planet Organic, farm shops and delicatessen’s, their dips are only ever produced with natural ingredients, and they make the foods you love.

Having decided on their platters, the following week, young people then created their designs which were tasted by Foundation staff with Moorish Dips Managing Director Andy Atherton, choosing the overall winner.

Heritage and Partnerships Lead Clare Clarke added “It’s great to have our partners involved in activities which allow our young people to have fun but also learn about business aspects such as planning and budgeting which will help them for the future, they young people really embraced and enjoyed the challenge”.
