The purpose-driven ethical and sustainable clothing brand, from the Midlands, Positive Outlook Clothing has published the latest episode of their ‘Give Back Pod' featuring Northampton Saints Foundation.
The podcast, hosted by Ben Oliver and Harvey Broadbent, helps to tell the story of charities and organisations that are making a genuine difference to the lives of young people. Aiming to bridge the gap between ‘wanting to help’ and ‘knowing how to help’. The hosts support and endorse youth organisations up and down the country, discussing the stigmas and stereotypes youths face, and talk 1-2-1 with the inspiring young people the organisations work with.
The latest episode talks to Northampton Saints Foundation; a local charity which INSPIRES, SUPPORTS and EDUCATES young people, in Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes and Ipswich, with their social inclusion and education programmes. Spurred on by their passion to make a positive difference, and armed with questions many of us hold over society, the hosts speak to Jordan Letts, Head of Foundation and ex-student turned Apprentice Tyrell Wilson. The episode discusses how the Foundation began, it’s programmes, the challenges faced within modern education and Tyrell’s heart-warming journey.
Jordan Letts said ‘It was a pleasure to be asked to feature on the Give Back Pod to discuss the life changing effects the Foundation has on young people and to share Tyrell’s journey. We are all so passionate about what we do at the Foundation and this episode gives an in-depth insight into my personal story and discusses why there is always a positive in every young person. Second chances are something that are thrown about in education, but often, many of these kids have never had a first chance'.
Tyrell added ‘The Foundation has changed my life and now I am enjoying working as an Apprentice to help inspire others who were in the same position as me’.
