Northampton Saints Foundation remains open to restricted students in order to accommodate the needs of the vulnerable young people we work with, and to support the schools and agencies that refer to us.
We are adjusting our operations to follow Government guidance and combat the spread of COVID-19. Our office is cleaned daily with anti-bacterial products and we are asking everyone to wash their hands regularly. Hand sanitiser is available to use throughout the day. We will be adopting the recommended social distancing and being very cautious around this. Gloves will be used where appropriate. We will no longer be taking students off site and have adapted our programme to run from the Foundation.
All staff and students have been asked to follow Government guidance if they have any symptoms or have been abroad recently. We are not accepting visitors into the Foundation for the foreseeable future. We ask all our partner schools to consider the students’ personal circumstances, for example if they live with anyone in the high-risk category to decide if their attendance is still appropriate.
1. We remain open for Engage students. With the majority of our Engage students falling into the ‘vulnerable’ category it is important that we can continue supporting them during this difficult time. We are being flexible with our delivery to adapt to the new circumstances, but the young people will still experience mentoring and wellbeing activities that they are used to. We are calling all referring schools and agencies to discuss individual needs. Please contact [email protected] for additional referrals.
2. Our HITZ and Engage+ students have moved to a distance learning model. We will support and work closely with them in this new way to ensure they still get the results they deserve. Mobbs Own Project; We continue at pace to research and share the stories of the Mobbs Own – we will update our progress through online channels.
