Northampton Saints Foundation is proud to be part of a new motorsport initiative launched by Great Central Plastics, with the Foundation’s logo now featuring prominently on the front of a newly unveiled Ginetta G40 race car.
The branding placement marks the start of a collaboration that brings together local businesses, suppliers and community organisations through a shared passion for motorsport, manufacturing and community impact.
As part of the collaboration, the Foundation’s branding now sits on the front of the car, symbolising its involvement in both the motorsport project and the wider community ambitions behind the initiative.
Launched by Great Central Plastics, the initiative centres around a Ginetta G40 race car, chosen as a platform to combine a genuine passion for motorsport with the company’s established network of suppliers and partners. Designed to create memorable experiences, the project will deliver opportunities for brand awareness, creative marketing activity and charitable fundraising throughout the season, with supplier and customer engagement at its heart.
Great Central Plastics is a family-run injection moulding manufacturer based in Woodford Halse, Northamptonshire. The business operates across a wide range of sectors, from eco-friendly reusable drinkware to precision automotive components, supporting organisations of all sizes with high-quality UK manufacturing.
Jordan Letts, CEO of Northampton Saints Foundation, welcomed the collaboration “We’re incredibly grateful to Great Central Plastics and all the partners involved for supporting the Foundation through such an exciting and innovative initiative. Partnerships like this help us continue delivering our life-changing programmes that positively impact people across Northamptonshire. We’re looking forward to seeing the project develop throughout the season and engaging with supporters and businesses along the way.”
Great Central Plastics says the partnership extends far beyond sponsorship branding, with plans for a series of events, track experiences and fundraising opportunities designed to bring together customers, suppliers and supporters while increasing visibility for the Foundation.
Kiron Phillips, Business Development at Great Central Plastics, said “This project has been a long time in the making and it's something we're incredibly proud of. Motorsport, manufacturing and community, it doesn't get much better than that. We've got a brilliant group of suppliers and partners behind us, and having the Foundation involved makes it even more special. We can't wait to see where this takes us.”
Further announcements regarding events and fundraising activities are expected throughout the year.
