Engage Plus
Engage Plus
Engage Plus, in partnership with Northampton College, is a programme designed to support young individuals who require additional learning support or are at risk of not being in education, employment or training (NEET).
We work with 16–19-year-old learners from Northampton College with the aim of growing confidence, increase their self-awareness, and develop key employability skills while also providing a bridge back into their chosen college course.
Our employability team uses a holistic, learner-centred approach, offering reliable support and tailored strategies to help individuals develop and progress positively
Delivered through a structured timetable, based at cinch Stadium at Franklin's Gardens and Lower Mounts Northampton College campus, learners have the opportunity to work towards and gain a City and Guilds Level 1 Certificate in Employability, whilst gaining their Functional Skills qualification at Northampton College.
The programme wraps work experience, enrichment, personal and social development opportunities around the main accreditation ensuring the leaners are supported in their preparation for work alongside giving awareness and understanding of the work environment. Northampton Saints Foundation work with excellent business partners locally and nationally to ensure we are able to narrow skills gaps alongside igniting a passion or interest for the learners in their journey to a career.
