Northampton Saints Foundation marked a decade of festive fun as Northampton Saints players took to the stage for ‘Ruckin’ Around the Christmas Tree’, on Wednesday 17th December. The event raised £11,741.71, and fans were treated to an evening filled with Christmas spirit, all in support of the Foundation.
Hosted and written by Foundation Ambassador Ethan Waller, the event treated the audience with playful, rugby-themed renditions of festive favourites. Highlights of the night included players performing their own takes on ‘Ruckin’ Around the Christmas Tree’, ‘White Gardens’, ‘Away in a Manger’, and ‘Kevin the Kitman’.
A special treat for attendees was a look back at the very first player nativity from ten years ago, with clips that reminded everyone just how far the event has come while celebrating its origins.
Adding to the seasonal atmosphere, local pianist Lincoln Noel provided live musical accompaniment, while a selection of festive stalls offered last-minute gift options. Fans also enjoyed browsing the stash stall, taking part in the auction, and raffle, with all proceeds helping to support the Foundation’s important work in the community.
