BACKGROUND
Northampton Saints Rugby Football Club was formed in 1880, when Reverend Samuel Wathen Wigg identified rugby as a way to channel the energies of some of the county’s more troubled youngsters. More than 140 years on, Northampton Saints Foundation continues his legacy, using the power of sport and the values of rugby to INSPIRE, SUPPORT and EDUCATE thousands of people each year. Our education and social inclusion programmes inspire the current generation to learn, develop new skills, increase confidence and where appropriate return to education, training or employment.
OVERVIEW
Northampton Saints Foundation are delighted to be offering the opportunity for a talented Media Content volunteer to join our Marketing & Communications Team. Ideal for somebody studying in Media Production/film/photography or marketing and looking to gain work experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Film and edit high-quality features and interviews for the Foundation’s digital platforms
- Gather behind-the-scenes footage and identify unique, engaging content opportunities
THE SUITABLE CANDIDATE WILL
- Have/ working towards qualifications or experience in video/photography production or other relevant subject
- Have experience creating high quality video and photo content
- Have good interpersonal skills
- Be comfortable asking questions and directing subjects
- Highly adept at video editing using iMovie, Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro
- Have an understanding of social media and how to tailor content to individual platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
- Able to self-organise and work to tight deadlines
- Potentially have additional digital skills to add to the arsenal of the Content team
- Have a full driving license and ability to travel is desirable
