Northampton Saints Foundation is delighted to welcome Grosvenor Leasing as its newest Founder15 partner, committing £5,000 per year for the next four years to support the charity’s work with young people and communities.
The new partnership coincides with the Foundation leasing new 12-seater minibuses through Grosvenor Leasing, providing reliable transport that will help young people access a wider range of experiences, activities and opportunities.
Transport plays an important role across the Foundation’s programmes. For many of the young people we support, accessing work experience, employer visits, educational activities and opportunities outside their usual environment can be challenging.
Having larger, reliable vehicles available means Foundation staff can safely transport cohorts together, removing practical barriers and opening the door to experiences that can have a lasting impact on a young person’s confidence, skills and future aspirations.
As part of the four-year partnership, Grosvenor Leasing will join the Foundation’s Founder15 programme, providing support each year for the duration of the vehicle lease agreement. The new minibuses will also proudly display both the Grosvenor Leasing and Northampton Saints Foundation branding.
The partnership is built on shared values and a commitment to creating opportunities and making a positive difference within local communities.
Craig Phillips, Head of Employability and Skills at Northampton Saints Foundation, said:
“We’re delighted to have these vehicles available to us. Reliable transport makes a huge difference to what we can offer our young people and immediately opens up so many more opportunities.
“Whether it is taking a group to meet an employer, attend work experience, visit a workplace or access an activity they may otherwise not have been able to experience, having our own transport gives us much greater flexibility.
“For the young people we support, these experiences can be incredibly important in building confidence, developing skills and helping them see the opportunities available to them. We’re extremely grateful to Grosvenor Leasing for supporting the Foundation and sharing our commitment to creating better opportunities for young people.”
The Foundation’s Founder15 programme brings together businesses that want to make a meaningful, long-term contribution to its work, helping Northampton Saints Foundation continue to Inspire, Support and Educate young people and communities.
The Foundation looks forward to working alongside Grosvenor Leasing throughout the four-year partnership and seeing the new vehicles out on the road, helping young people access opportunities across Northamptonshire and beyond.
