Northampton Saints Foundation is proud to share Foundation Day 2026 has raised, to date, a total of £60,917 (and counting!).
Held on Saturday 21st March at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens, when Northampton Saints took on Newcastle Red Bulls, the day featured a whole host of fundraising activities to raise vital funds and awareness for the Foundation.
With a fantastic turnout and amazing support from fans, partners and the local community, Foundation Day once again proved to be a powerful celebration of rugby and community spirit.
From the moment supporters arrived, the stadium was buzzing with activity. The Supporter Village was alive with energy as fans had the opportunity to meet Northampton Saints players and take part in a wide range of fundraising activities.
The ever-popular raffle and auction drew huge interest, offering unforgettable experiences and exclusive Saints items, while activities such as the Foundation spin-the-wheel, face painting and special flags brought smiles to supporters of all ages.
On the pitch, Northampton Saints players wore red t-shirts to show their support and the special half-time activation, proudly sponsored by QLM Search, captured the attention of the crowd and highlighted the impact of the Foundation’s work across the region.
To top the day off, Saints secured a 28-27 victory, giving supporters even more reason to celebrate on a special day.
Jordan Letts, CEO of Northampton Saints Foundation, said “I couldn’t be prouder of the team behind Foundation Day, from our dedicated staff and volunteers to the players who gave their time so generously.
Every pound raised will directly support the Foundation’s life-changing programmes across Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes, helping to deliver opportunities that support Education, Wellbeing, Employability and Social Inclusion across Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes.
We are incredibly grateful to every supporter, partner, sponsor, volunteer and member of the community who contributed, whether by donating, taking part in activities or simply showing up and creating such a fantastic atmosphere. It’s that collective spirit that makes days like this so special and allows us to continue making a real difference in people’s lives. It was also fantastic to have Loughborough Lightning show their support by wearing red for the Foundation on the Sunday”
Special thanks goes to our sponsors, Approved Business Finance, Workwear Northampton, Keepmoat, VMS Limited and our half time sponsor QLM Search for their invaluable support. We’d also like to thank Levy, Polar Bars, Northampton Saints staff and players for their outstanding support throughout the day, our ambassadors Tom Wood and Ethan Waller, everyone who donated a raffle/auction prize, plus Little Faces Face Painting, Balloons for all Occasions and our photographers Stuart Vincent, Red Hat Photo and Adam Gumbs for capturing the day.
Foundation Day continues to grow year on year, and 2026 has once again demonstrated the power of Northampton Saints community to come together and make a real difference.
An auction to win the players warm-up t-shirts will be live within the next few days which will raise additional funds, please keep an eye out for the link to bid. The money raised from the auction plus additional funds which are still being received will be added to the overall Foundation Day total.
