Did you know it takes 15,153 people to fill cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens and this season, Northampton Saints Foundation is aiming to raise one pound for every supporter in the stands.
The goal? £15,153 to help transform lives through the power of sport and the values of rugby.
Supporters can play their part simply by asking bar staff to add ‘One for the Foundation’ to their order at the stadium’s bar and an extra £1 will be added to the total and donated straight to the Foundation.
Fans can also donate by scanning QR codes located around the ground, or by texting SAINT1 to 70201.
Over the last academic year alone, the Foundation supported more than 7,000 children, young people and adults through a range of innovative programmes.
From hubs in Northampton, Corby, Kettering and Milton Keynes, the Foundation supports young people facing challenges like mental health, trauma and behavioural difficulties. Through skills development, education support and confidence building, it helps them stay engaged and take control of their future.
In schools, programmes build motor skills, character and cognitive development, while wellbeing projects in care homes and memory cafes support those living with dementia and loneliness. The Saints Inside programme reduces reoffending in prisons, and as an alternative education provider for 16–19 year olds, the Foundation equips young people with qualifications, life skills and employability skills.
Be a Saint, and order 'One for the Foundation'.
