Saints Foundation named Approved Business Finance’s Charity of the Year

The Northampton Saints Foundation has been given a welcome seal of approval with the announcement of an important new partnership.

Approved Business Finance, a company led by Rory Dunn and Greg Durkan, is set to give some crucial support to our cause.

Dunn and Durkan, who have backed the Saints Foundation in previous capacities, have encouraged their Approved team to choose us as their ‘charity of the year’.

They are aiming to raise £10,000 during the next 12 months and the first initiative will take place on Friday 15 February, when Dunn and Durkan will be locked in their offices and not allowed out until they have raised £1,000 for the Saints Foundation.

“We can’t wait to get behind Approved Business Finance’s fundraising efforts, and we thank them for all of their support to date.”

Catherine Deans, Foundation Managing Director

And Saints Foundation managing director Catherine Deans is extremely grateful for the support the affable team at Approved Business Finance are providing.

“We are incredibly thankful to Rory, Greg and their team for supporting the Foundation by pledging to raise £10,000 over the next 12 months,” Deans said.

“The funds that they raise will be used to support our Engage programme, which helps to increase the confidence of students aged between nine and 15 who are struggling in mainstream education.”

Based in Milton Keynes, Approved Business Finance is one of the fastest growing finance brokerages in the UK.

With more than 30 years of experience in the business finance arena, the team specialises in securing funding for numerous sectors.

Unlike traditional high street banks and lenders, Approved Business Finance prides itself on understanding the need for business owners to get faster finance solutions.

Their finance product range is extensive, including business loans to asset finance, commercial mortgages and even invoice finance.

And the Approved team will now work closely with the Saints Foundation for the foreseeable future, with more exciting fundraising events already in the offing.

They are planning to take part in the Tough Mudder event at Belvoir Castle on June 13 and the dragon boat racing in Milton Keynes on June 27.

And Deans added: “We at the Foundation are very much looking forward to building a strong and long-lasting partnership with the Approved Business Finance team.

“We can’t wait to get behind their fundraising efforts, and we thank them for all of their support to date.”
