Northampton Saints Foundation is delighted to confirm that its biggest fundraising event of the year, Foundation Day 2026, will take place on Saturday 21st March, when Northampton Saints host Newcastle Red Bulls at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens, with a 3:00pm kick-off.
Foundation Day will once again see the stadium come alive with community spirit, bringing supporters, players and partners together to raise vital funds and awareness for the Foundation’s work across Northamptonshire and beyond.
Supporters attending the match can look forward to a packed programme of fundraising activities throughout the day, including a half-time challenge on the pitch, sponsored by QLM Search, a raffle with a range of exciting prizes, and auction items featuring exclusive experiences and signed Northampton Saints memorabilia.
Approved Business Finance once again demonstrated their continued commitment to the event, providing an upfront donation that will help kick-start planning and bring the event to life. With an extra thanks to our other Foundation Day Sponsors - Workwear Northampton, Keepmoat and VMS.
Members of the Northampton Saints squad and Academy players will be in the supporter village before kick-off, meeting fans, signing memorabilia and taking photos in return for donations to the Foundation.
The announcement comes after another year of significant growth and impact for the Foundation. During the 2024/2025 academic year, the Foundation engaged with more than 58 education settings, supported 6,744 participants, and delivered an incredible 37,357 hours of activity, creating measurable and lasting impact across local communities.
These outcomes reflect the continued expansion of the Foundation’s education, employability, social inclusion and specialist programmes, all delivered using the power of sport and the values of rugby to empower and enrich lives across generations.
Speaking ahead of the event, Jordan Letts, CEO from Northampton Saints Foundation, highlighted the importance of Foundation Day returning for another year “We’re incredibly proud to be bringing Foundation Day back for 2026. It’s a chance to celebrate the difference our programmes make, while also rallying our supporters around a shared goal, helping us reach even more people who need support. The funds raised on this day directly enable us to keep growing, innovating and creating real opportunities within our community.”
Inspired by the rich history of Northampton Saints, the Foundation continues to use the club’s rich heritage to inspire, support and education people from 4 to 105. Last year’s Foundation Day raised an impressive £57,891, and the Foundation is once again calling on local businesses, partners and supporters to get involved through donations, sponsorship opportunities and volunteering.

Tickets for the match will be available through Northampton Saints website, with sales opening in stages. Season ticket holders will be able to purchase tickets from 5th February, followed by member ticket sales from 7th February and general sale will open at midday on 9th February 2026.
Supporters will also have the opportunity to add a donation to Northampton Saints Foundation at checkout, helping to ensure the Foundation can continue its life-changing work for years to come.
