Foundation’s Founder15 club off to a fast start

Two local companies have become Northampton Saints Foundation’s first Founder15 members, pledging their support to help the charity for the next three years.

MPA, a Newport Pagnell-based advisory firm which specialises in helping businesses to maximise potential benefits from available HMRC tax concessions, has joined the scheme – which helps change the lives of young people across Northamptonshire.

Meanwhile, Milton Keynes and London-based agency WHP Creative – who boast more than 15 years’ experience in design and digital projects – have also committed to help fund our programmes by joining the Founder15 club.

“We are thrilled that both MPA and WHP Creative have decided to support us by joining our Founder15 programme,” said Catherine Deans, Managing Director at Northampton Saints Foundation.

“This not only provides the Foundation with a financial boost, but also allows us to build long-term relationships with these businesses and work together to support our students.”

“Founder15 is an exciting, new initiative where companies can meet their CSR objectives by supporting a local charity working to improve young lives – with a growth in demand for services particularly noticeable in the pandemic.

“This commitment and the revenue it generates is vital, and the benefits we can give support the infrastructure of the Founder15 organisation. We are very grateful to both MPA and WHP.”

In return for their support for Northampton Saints Foundation, both companies are now able to access a number of benefits which include:

  • Two free places at the Foundations annual dinner with the Foundation Player Ambassadors
  • Two free places at each of the Founder15 Coaching Skills & Leadership Skills Workshops, delivered by Volunteer Leadership & Development Consultants Doug Ferguson & Mel Hayward
  • Framed, signed Northampton Saints Shirt (first season)
  • One player appearance (terms and conditions apply)
  • Opportunities for staff to volunteer within the Foundation
  • Regular updates on Foundation programmes and the progression of the students
  • Use of our Foundation logo

Pete Spicer, Director at WHP Creative, said: “WHP are extremely proud to offer creative support to the Northampton Saints Foundation, and become one of the first new Founder15 members.

“We’re inspired by the valuable work the Foundation team are doing to change the lives of the students involved, and honoured to play a small part in that.”

“MPA are honoured to continue our long-standing association with Northampton Saints Foundation by becoming one of the Founder15,” added Mike Price, MPA’s Director.

“We are inspired by the enormous positive impact the Foundation has on the students, families and communities in and around Northamptonshire.”

We are looking for other organisations to join our Founder15 programme, helping us to support young people to better futures. For more information, please contact Sue Wright at [email protected] or 07483 078363.
